Another one? Yes, yes! I am having too much fun! This time I am trying my hands at the Scrap The Boys December challenge, unusual Christmas colours. Well this layout would have to be the most colourful layout I have ever made but I kind of like it! This was a challenge alright! I used a lot of scraps from previous years of Christmas layouts (Kaiser, French papers which I forgot the name of) and some punches of course, and a little technique: I spray gorgeous "Red-Nosed Reindeer" Glimmermist on a sheet of canvas and punched it out! Well here is the picture of my gorgeous elf :D:

Over at Scrap the girls the December challenge is scrapping your baby girl so I had to have a go at it! Kaaren from Fat Cats had sent me the latest We R Memory Keepers tool, the Sew easy, so I used that for my border, and I used all my usual embellies, Prima flowers, lots of punched shapes, brads, the papers are BG and Kaiser:

Thanks for coming by!

I am trying myself to another challenge, this time it is Kraft It Up, this month challenge is to scrap a Xmas Tradition, I know there are a lot of those photo shoots layouts but this year's photo was just so special to my heart as it was taken on our block of land! Where we should build a brand new house one day! Now let's talk about the layout: well I used a WOW circle frame and lots of hand drawn and cut little Xmas trees, brads, punched circles, handcut stars of different sizes and dimensional paint as well as white ink for the funky background, and of course kraft bazzill! Well I had fun with this layout and here are the pictures:
Well thanks for checking it out! Can't wait for next month challenge. Now off I go to start on Scrap the boys challenge!

Monday, December 12, 2011

A quick share, this time is my DM, she was on top of the world when she finally met her granddaughter and she spoilt her to bits. I used a WOW circle frame with a splash of paint and some distressing, used Pixie Glen Prima Papers and a multitude of punched pieces to create a collage background.
That's all I have time for today. Enjoy your Monday!

Hi all,

Well I have never really entered any challenge at all, I have been meaning to but never found the time, but this month I have decided to enter a few inspiring challenges, why not? So I started with my favourite one the Prima BAP and I found it very inspiring, I used a mixture of Prima Papers mainly Pixie Glen (my fav) and one big WOW circle frame of course! Here is what it looks like:
As you can my circle addiction is forever present, also some stars, some MS border punches and stitching! You have a lovely day!

Hi all,
Just a quick share! Did this layout using Alla Prima papers and some older collections mixed up, as well as the gorgeous WOW fancy round frame and arrow. The story behind the photo is that we took the kids on a day trip to the coast and the weather being hot we decided to let them loose on the beach, this is what happened to Sean, he could not help but make a mess of himself!

That's it for today, make sure you head over to the WOW blog for our w-e inspiration!

Now November is over I do not have to scrapbook Christmas photos for a while and I can at last concentrate on very precious memories. I start with a photo of my brother and sister with DS, "bonding", they really get along those 3 and it was so gorgeous to watch! In this layout I had a ball with my Martha Stewart punches and inks as well as with my WOW chipboards (leaves, alchemy blooms).

That's it for now! Have fun!

Monday, November 21, 2011

Just a quick share today, I decided I had enough Christmas papers to last another few years, and I did not really want to buy any more for a while! So I dug through the pile of Christmas stuff I had and challenged myself to use it, so this layout is made of French papers I got a few years back, the colours are a bit unusual but I tried to make it work as best I could.
I used my WOW chipboards (these are brand new): candy cane and holly and leaves set.
To decorate those amazing pieces I tried something different: I coloured them with my Tria Alcohol Markers and white glitter+glue. Now if you look closely, the candy cane was transformed into the letter J to start my title Joy! I coloured part of the candy cane green and went with a glue pen in the leftover space and sprinkled with white glitter. What I liked about the alcohol markers and that the chipboard "drinks" the colour and the colours has that vintagy look. As for the rest of the design well lots of distressing, inking and tearing!
I will be back with a sneak peek! Thanks for coming by!

Another Christmas layout! I have been playing with new Martha Stewart border combo punches, and I love them! Fatcats has a lot in stock! Also used lots of Prima! The papers are a mixture of old and new Kaiser papers that had been stashed away/forgotten about. And the wonderful Santa and Sleigh chippy at the bottom of my layout is from WOW of course! The alphabet stickers are Prima, the doily is Kaiser.
A little tip: with the border punch I used the cute little circle offcuts and scattered them around my page.

Hope you like it! Cheers for now!

Well another week-end gone, did a bit of scrapping, can't share just yet, as my projects are not quite finished, one I am not happy with, the other one I am much happier with.
So today, just a quick share, 2 cards I created a couple of weeks ago, using Prima papers (North Country Collection), I find the colour scheme very Christmassy and soft and I kind of love the mix of beige, white and red.
These cards are very WOW, one has chipboard but I also used the chipboard circle frame to make both those circle cards, I find those frames so versatile because I can use them over and over again as templates!

I hope you like it, I will be back sometime this week to share some more Christmas goodness!
Thanks for coming

Well another w-e gone and I did not get to scrapbook as much as I thought I would, got one layout done, I used the new released Fancy Reindeer, and holly and leaves set from WOW, I covered the leaves with red distress embossing powder and the holly with white Kaiser pearls. I also added some Martha Stewart punched borders and new Memory Box lace circle die.
Well that's it for now, thanks for coming by and have a lovely week!

Friday, November 4, 2011

Well, it is November already and it is Xmas month at WOW, we were all given some fantastic pieces to play with. So I will start with a layout the colours were inspired by the latest Prima Xmas papers and flowers of course! Very soft layout about DD, so photogenic isn't she? She is growing so fast and can be very naughty too lol :) The chipboard piece that I used is Christmas Ornament Border, it is stunningly detailed and great to work with! I kept it simple, I painted it white and clear embossed some Xmas words and shapes for a little detail ;) you can see it on the close ups. I also used my new toys from Fatcats, the Memory Box Frosty border die, it is just great so easy to use! Now here are the pics:

I will be back soon with some Xmas cards using some more Prima and wow!
Thanks for coming by

Sunday, October 30, 2011

Today I would like to share my latest layout. I was inspired by the wavy border (not yet released) by wow and a photo I took of DD on her first trip ever to the beach, where we had no togs to put on her. She had a ball playing in the mud and the sand. I used the Prima Alla Prima Papers, some old Prima flowers and Kaiser flowers and all the other flowers were homemade using the latest dies available at Fatcats, I also used white paint, stitching and lots of inking and distressing.
For the WOW chipboard I wanted to create a coral effect, so first I covered my chipboard with Dimensional Magic and then added white beads all over, I waited overnight to let it dry and I went over the lot with Gesso, paint and glimmermist, it does look like coral, I am very happy with the result, so here is the project and some close ups:

Hope you like it. For more inspiration head over to the WOW blog!

Well today I am bringing some WOW, this photo was taken in Arras,  where I spent all my schooling and it is my favourite town, the photo is my family posing for me except for DD who decided not to look at me lol.
I used half a circle frame on which I glued some black triangles and I used black ink to colour the frame, I did the same with the gorgeous leaves, the flowers are Kaisercraft which I coloured with black ink too.
The papers are BG, Kaisercraft and the stamp is Prima.
Thanks for coming.

Friday, October 14, 2011

I am very lucky to still have one grandmother, she is very special to me, we are close and she is very loving, so when she first met my DD it was very emotional, they loved each other straight away, it was very touching! I thought to keep the layout simple with little details, used some WOW chipboard pieces as well as some Fatcats products.
Fatcats: Kaiser paper pad, MME paper pad, Cuttlebug embossing folders.
No special techniques, I painted my chipboard pieces with some white paint and stamped words using distress ink.
I will be back this w-e with some sneek peak of my blog post for WOW due next Thursday.
Happy scrapping and thanks for visiting ;)

A quick post all the way from France! Can't wait to scrap all the beautiful photos I have taken so far!
Another WOW layout! This time I am using some gorgeous journalling boxes, not yet released! I thought to do something a little bit different, I filled them with lots of different things just to give extra texture to my layout, I just love that photo of Sean he just looks so cute!

A little explanation on how I created texture in the Flourish box, I just chose lots of buttons and brads and filled my empty space, I then covered the lot with Gesso (I went over the surface twice), it leaves a rugged surface and then a coat of white paint, very easy! I hope you are all well and thanks for coming to my blog!

Monday, August 29, 2011

Hello everyone,
Well, today I come with a fresh layout designed with Fatcats gorgeous products! I am totally in love with Dies Direct Flourish Die, and I thought to use it as a mask with distress stain for a nice background effect and also used the flourish itself in the l/h bottom corner and bits of it around the layout. I never try anything so I was pleasantly surprised with the result. With one die you can achieve a lot. The paper I used are Kaisercraft, from different collections and I also used the Fence Die by Dies Direct and Martha Stewart border punch, all of these are available from Fatcats of course! So here are the photos:
