Winter cuddles...

Another quick share, had a photo shoot with the kids last week just for fun and for new inspiration so here is a first layout of DD cuddling a teddy! So cute! Back to my old vintage style it just works for me lately...
I used a few techniques on this layout, on flower and chipboard, the chipboard was coloured with Tim Holtz Distress pen and then covered with clear embossing powder and distressed again with walnut stain, I also added some distress stickles on some parts of the chippie clock (Twiddlebitz). As for the flower (Manor House) it was originally white, was turned blue by spraying TA patina GM, I then added some turquoise Croco crackle paint on some parts of the petals! I am so in love with Manor House Creations Flowers...
So here is my layout:

I also had a bit of a play with Baker's twine, and with new Prima stamps (branches, flowers etc.)
Well that's it for me today...Thanks for passing by!

Hello everyone,

I hope everyone is having a nice w-e...Just a quick share today, this is my inspiration layout for SUYS challenge this month, it is a photo prompt:

And here is my layout:

My home made embellies are made of a film strip die from Die-Namics, I made a border around my page by cutting it half lengthways and I made a film roll with the same die. The other products I used are Manorhouse Creations Flowers, Authentique and MME papers, a little bit of stamping here and there, black croco paint.
I really hope to see your entries this month, the very generous sponsors this month are:
APPLETREELANEDESIGNS Monica is offering a $15 voucher plus free postage! Have a look at her gorgeous goodies here

And the sponsor for our Sophie's Corner August Challenge is : Mimoko Mim!!

Thanks for passing by!

In the park...

I managed to complete another layout this week-end...I do surprise myself sometimes :), I found those photos in my pile of photos to scrap, the kids were having a ball chasing each other around that round plaything I had to get some photos...we were on holidays and the kids just love discovering just as much as we do when we visit some new places, I do love that about them, so curious...Anyway, I mixed Kaiser papers of different collections together, a little bit of texture paste for the background, lots of cicles ;) and some stitching around the page.

Lately I find digi scrap very inspiring, the layers and all the little details...and the crazy sketches they use, I am a bit sick of what I have been doing and I have decided to go a little bit crazy and try new things!
I really love how in digi scrap you can imitate stitching coming apart, that's what I tried to create with my border stitching around the layout, it looks messy and I love it! Also I used the Cheery Lyn flower die and stuck down the wrong side of the flower, it has a hint of quilling (you do use a quilling tool to roll them up), my photos sit in home made circle frames.
That's it for me today, thanks for coming by and just for passing by...

In love with flowers...

Hope you all have a great week-end, we are having a beautiful sunny day in Roma and it is nice and warm too...I have a layout to share, now that one is just because, I bought this big supply of Manorhouse Creations flowers at the Brisbane Convention and I really want to make good use of them, so here is a very flowery/girly layout, colours were inspired by the photos of DD with some facepaint, she was so good while the lady was painting her face, it was so cute to watch! Used Rachelle Minnett Creations chipboard title with a splash of distress stain and croco paint, also used Maya Road Fancy corner chipboard, papers are Kaiser and Pink Paislee, used my usual techniques of paper punches and dies with lots of distressing and stitching with a splash of gauze here and there!!! Background texture created with texture paste and chicken wire template.

I had lots of fun with this layout! Still haven't decided what my next project is...So many great challenges this month it will be hard to choose! Thanks for coming by and leaving some love!
Enjoy the week-end!

A new month...

What better way than to start a month with a RAK, my first ever rak!!!!

You will need to do a couple of things in order to win this fab prize:
1. Advertise this rak on your own personal blog (comment + link to your blog in the comment section of this post)
