7 Dots Studio Layout for Scrapping Outback!

I told you I have a lot to share!!! Another layout for you today! I have been very busy...
I would like to share with you a layout I created with 7 Dots Studio Papers "Domestic Goddess" Collection available at Scrapping Outback.
Those papers are very thick and are perfect for mixed media style layouts, they can take a lot of spraying, painting etc. A real treat to play with!!!

I am highly influenced by Finnabair here as you can see. I was very lucky to attend one of her classes last month and came home with lots of leftover goodies, and lots of fun techniques so I thought to create a layout using the techniques I had learnt with the 7 Dots Studio Papers available at Scrapping Outback.
Also available at Scrapping Outback are the Glimmermist Sprays I used in this layout!

Title Tip: my title was created with alphabet chipboard, I first sprayed it with brown and blue glimmermist, by spraying them together I allowed them to mix beautifully! When dry I covered each letter with Impasto Gel, it enhances the colour beneath, when dry I added some Distress Stickles in Walnut Stain.

Tip: concentrate the dark colouring in some areas to create shady and lighter areas.

  1. Sandrine I absolutely the the Finn inspired page as much as I love your previous layouts which look much softer. It must have been a lot of fun to be in her class and I'm always asking what adhesive people use to ensure the metal pieces, once treated so heavily with paints, paste and mists, stick forever???

    1. Hi Sandra, the glue I used is Gel Medium! It is a great art supply, but you should use fixative after spraying/painting it as the mediums if handled a lot might not stay there!

  2. Wow this is soooo cool , love all the little trinkets and details :)
